AUVA Faculty and Graphic Design Students recently returned from a trip to NYC for spring break. We had the opportunity to go into studios of great minds including Milton Glaser, Matteo Bologna, Swiss Miss, Type Directors Club and Behance. We also had the privilege of meeting Debbie Millman and sat in on a taping of Design Matters. To those who are responsible for making this trip happen, we could not be more thankful for your hard work and generosity. This video provides a glimpse into some of the incredible memories that were made and the foundation of inspiration we have to build on. All credit for it goes to Morgan Reynolds.
Congratulations to the Anderson University Graphic Design Students who took home 25 of the 35 AAF Greenville Student ADDY Awards (including the Special Judges Award) during last Saturday’s Gala. All of these entries will be submitted to the regional competition—stay tuned!

Professor Tim Speaker discusses his work. The students would like to express their great appreciation to the Art Bomb members that took the time to share their work and knowledge with us.
The Art Bomb, a non-profit group of artists based in Greenville, opened their show in Vandiver Gallery tonight. Many of the AUVA faculty are members of this extraordinary group of artists. In this image, Professor Kim Dick is discussing her sculptural work.
