Since the launch of the new AUVA website is coming up soon I wanted to take a moment to express the mission of this blog and its relationship to the upcoming site. AUVA prides itself on being a tight-knit family of creatives. We form relationships with our professors and other students that are rare compared to a typical university platform. This blog is meant to communicate the inviting, approachable, and organic essence of the department. It is a documentation of daily student life and things you would see or experience in your time here. The professionalism and sophistication of the art department is seeded in our student work, which is delivered through the official AUVA website. Our AUVA family is proof that normal, hard-working individuals with genuine passion can produce high-quality work on par with renowned art schools.
I’m proud to be a part of the AUVA family and I care enough about it to invest myself fully into documenting and communicating our daily lives as artists. The knowledge and attention we receive here are unmatched, and we should be grateful for the opportunities and outlets of expression we have access to.
